"It" is this new archive section ... and this announcement. Classmates will need to come here to see "IT". There are sure to be questions ... and you're sure to have clever answers! But "Sh-h-h-h-h!!!" ... don't give away the secret! OK? Let's see how long it takes for most everyone to find "IT" too. Thanks! Steve Holcomb Email Archive Webservant
August 4, 2007 In Search of ... IT. Have you seen IT? I have. BB *************** August 5, 2007 I just saw HAIRSPRAY tonight. It is VERY good. Although there are not any songs specifically from our childhood, the music is very faithful to the late 50s and early 60s. And John Travolta makes an EXCELLENT zaftig Edna Turnblad! The young girl playing Tracy is nothing short of magnificent. And who knew Christopher Walken and Michelle Pfeiffer could sing? Well, she DID have that turn in THe Fabulous Baker Boys, didn't she? Anyway, it comes highly recommended. Other than some pretty suggestive dialogue, it's fairly family friendly. No cursing that I can recall and no nudity. PG-13 for that suggestive talk and not much else. Danny Barker *************** Have you seen IT yet? I have. Yes, I saw "IT" at the mall on Friday. Really nice! Bob Watson "_________, they have no clue, do they? BB NOPE! But here's a clue: '67 in '07 - - - - - - - - - - Hello there Billy, It is truly wonderful that IT can be so fitting and uplifting this day and time with all that is taking place in our society today. The world is made up of many different types of people and it is only fitting that IT is a true reflection of many colors and patterns in one's heart and mind. Billy I'm sorry if I seem to be rambling on and on, I just can't keep quiet about this secret any longer. IT is truly a wonderful thing! Best to all, Bob Watson What do you think, Steve? Has Bob hit on IT? BB Bob seems ambiguous to me. Bob, where did you find IT? Steve Holcomb - - - - - - - - - - - - I saw IT in the Victoria's Secret window, but please bear in mind, I wasn't looking for IT. I was just doing my daily 90 minute walk in the air conditioned Avenue's Mall, and there IT was. Great engineering! IT's good to be Bob! Janice Watson, restrain your man! BB '67ers in that IT in '07? Wrong IT, "good to be Bob". Steve Holcomb - - - - - - - - - - - - August 13, 2007 Hello there!, The msytery of "IT" still continues? Y'all must be referring to a different IT than I am. Most every day I take a 90 minute walk at the Avenues Mall here in Jax. In the Victoria's Secret window they recently put up a display of a line of bras, called "IT". Please look at their home page and you will see "IT". I thought this must be what all the fuss was about! Silly me! "It's-good-to-be-Bob" IT Still, I'm wondering what the other IT is? Your pal, Bob Watson - - - - - - - - - - - - Not so silly, Bob! BB, Wouldn't you agree "It's-good-to-be-Bob" found a better IT? Steve Holcomb ************ Billy, I saw IT and I’m amazed how many we haven’t found or updated! Andy Hall - - - - - - - - - Sounds like Andy found IT. Steve Holcomb *************** August 5, 2007 Was IT at Walmart. If IT was, then I got another one to place with my original. Dave Steele IT is not found at WalMart, Dave. Look closer to home. BB *************** You don't have to make such a big deal out of IT. Just because y'all finally figured out that you can buy Viagra over the internet is not big deal. Jeff "Anonymous" Kilgore Naw - This IT ain't blue, Jeff! *************** August 12, 2007 Regarding IT, I agree with Andy, it is amazing, many more to be found and updated. Give 'em another clue, BB and Spiel. Janis Garrett Boland - - - - - - - - - - - - BB, Wow! I think JB found IT! BB and Andy found IT too. Another clue? IT ends it. Spiel *************** Went to the Doctor today, and had some skin cancer removed Thought it was an age spot, but it was not. Anyway while there looking through a magzine low and behold there IT was, in fact there was a whole lot of its. Dwayne Johnson **************** The usual meaning is Information Technology. It also is the domain name for Italy. In the 1920's to Have "it" was to have sex appeal, so I assume that is where Victoria's Secret is coming from. Knowing you two, I'd assume your IT has religious overtones. Teresa McVeigh **************** Regret to nix all your multiple guesses Tess, but the IT we're searching for isn't Information Technology, in Italy, sex appeal (though BB might take issue with that), something to wear from Victoria's Secrets (though "It's-good-to-be-Bob" has become the class PR man for this IT), or resonating with religion (thank Heavens!) Clue 1: '67 in '07 Clue 2: IT ends it New Clue 3: Addams Spiel P.S. Have you seen the newest addition to the Archives? If not, check it out. *************** Great, ribs, but you misspelled Addams Jerry Lowe ?BB Jerry, I think that's the Hebrew version. Vikki Funderburke Nichols *************** August 13, 2007 Hello there Billy, I finally found IT, not my "IT", but your "IT" Cool, looks like a ZZ Top band member! Although I still am rather fond of my "IT"!!! Bob Watson - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Jerry 'n all, If one limits thinking to, say, Anne Adams then I stand corrected and will write "I love Adams" 100 times on the chalk board. But what if one broadens thinking to remember Cousin Itt of the Addams Family ('64-'66)? - (rather than ZZ Top on Rogaine) - hee-hee! Spiel **************** August 14, 2007 Before and After Hi Class, Spiel has done it again. There's a new section on the class website devoted to Before and After photos: ga67.herobo.com/indexfoto2.html Some people, such as John Boney, have a couple photos as their after shots, so there is a nice picture of him and Terri. He has also added captions. And there are now photos of some of our classmates, such as Vikki Funderburk Nichols, who are not in the '67 annual. Since that is the only one I have (Thank you again, Janis!), it's wonderful to be able to see the before shots of people who looked familiar but I just couldn't place. What an incredible amount of work Speil has done. I wonder if Linda ever sees him anymore. He has really done a beautiful job for us folks. Don't stop looking until you get to to the end of IT. Teresa McVeigh *************** In Search of ... IT I think I saw IT, if I did actually see IT, it is really the work of another of our classmates that works tirelessly to provide things to help all of us remember our past & present. One other thing, thank you Bob Watson for the exhaustive research effort. Mike Sutton *************** Think I found IT, thanks to Teresa. Fun to peruse IT. Vikki Funderburke Nichols Vikki, Just ask "E" about Tess keeping a secret. *************** Thanks to all the splendid clues I have finally found ......IT. Put 1 & 2 together and you'll find IT too. Great work. Dave Steele *************** August 23, 2007 I Found IT!!!!! And IT was so much fun finding IT....What a great thing!!!!! I was so confused and now I am so enlightened!!! I feel so good....about finding IT. What a great time I had before I stumbled on IT . Thank you so very much. Dianne Smith Cooke

Thanks to all who searched for "IT". As you might guess, "IT" was an invitation to explore the Archives and hopefully discover the newest "Then & Now" photo section just constructed. The "Then" photos were taken from scans from the High Tide and are a bit grainy. It would be much better to scan an original class photo that was published in the "High Tide", if you still have one and you would email your scan to me as an attachment. Most "Now" photos currently displayed were taken during our 40th Reunion and may not be what you consider a flattering photo. What I really desire to know is whether or not you approve of your "Now" photo I selected. If not, or if there is no "Now" photo by your name, this is my standing invitation for you to email or tell me which "Now" photo you would prefer displayed. My initial motivation for the "Then & Now" section was something for those who no longer own their High Tide Annual. It was constructed quickly and I hope it will remain a work in progress for upgrading and updating. This section of the Archives promises to become the most visited.
